The Blockheads

The Blockheads is a game based on the famous Minecraft where your goal is the same as in the original: to survive using your skills and abilities – except in this game you always move forward, like in an endless runner.

In this game you face an unknown world, equipped with only a shovel, a wooden pick, and a couple sticks. Night is falling, and there's not much else to do besides build a shelter with the items nature provides for you along the way. Since it's a 2D game, when you go out into an adventure, there's just one road to take. You either find what you need in a short time, or you have no choice but to use what you already have. Building a bed, creating a good shelter, or lighting a fire are all essential if you want to survive.

To interact with the scenario you just have to tap once on the corresponding block; your character will automatically dig, cut, or scratch, accumulating everything you can extract from it. You can use resources to craft items, and increase your chances of surviving the dangers of the night. The more achievements you discover, the easier it is to survive. You can paint the walls, cook meat, upgrade buildings, and everything else you've always done on Minecraft – but in a way you've never done before, and in 2D to boot.
